SILVERSHELL
COUNTER + KITCHEN

Owner Erin Shea, a native New Englander, grew up two miles from Silvershell Beach in Marion, MA. She spent her summers splashing in the ocean and eating her fill of fried clams and steamers. The Georgetown University grad met Chef Lee Chizmar while working at a restaurant in Boston and relocated to the Lehigh Valley over a decade ago with him to open their first restaurant, Bolete, in 2007. Shea and Chizmar share a love for the quintessential cuisine of the Northeast, and thus, Silvershell Counter + Kitchen was born. Located in the Easton Public Market Adjacent to their second restaurant concept, Mister Lee’s, Silvershell is a New England-style clam shack and seafood counter that’s reminiscent of a classic clam shack, while also elevating the offerings using farmers in the Valley and top-notch seafood purveyors on the coast.

LOGO DESIGN
A cool blue pop anchors weathered type inspired by the worn, hand-painted signs of generations-old New England seafood shacks. A soft, illustrated scallop shell — used alone or in tandem with the lettering — balance the punchy colors and lend a soft nod to the product offering and concept name.
