Housed in a historic brownstone in New York City's charming West Village neighborhood, Sotto 13 features a menu of Italian-inspired fare, bringing new interpretations to old classics. There is a focus on hand made pastas, artisanal salumi and rustic dishes served from a wood fired oven located in the heart of the restaurant.
• Logo Refinement
Looking to refine their concept with small, budget-conscious changes agentsie helped to simplify the existing brand logo for clarity of use in all digital and print applications. A variation for use on social media channels was also created.
• Menu & Wine List Layout
With simplification in mind across the board, a new menu layout was designed that highlights offerings aligned with the concept's strong suits; wood-fired dishes, hand made pastas and simple, seasonal Italian inspired dishes. Beverages too were removed from the existing content-heavy menu and given their own format to boost sales.
• Social Media Account Audit
While facebook, instagram, and twitter accounts existed, agentsie revised handles across platforms to present a more unified digital presence. In addition, profiles were updated to include current contact information with relevant images.
• Social Media Content Management & Guest Engagement
Acting as a modern-day Mâitre d', agentsie monitored all restaurant social media channels, actively engaging diners and posting specials. agentsie also worked with the restaurant's publicist to share press coverage and interact with media as appropriate.
• Social Media Training
Finding a strong team motivated to manage content and communications on their own, agentsie provided training to the restaurant chefs and managers. Best practices for photography, content sharing and brand voice were reviewed and feedback was given until the team was posting with confidence.
